Upcoming Podcast Episode

We’re excited to share an upcoming podcast episode all about crowdfunding—breaking down what it takes to turn an idea into a fully funded project. From building early momentum to engaging your audience, this conversation offers practical insights for anyone looking to bring a creative vision to life.

Pichi

We are excited to share that Nicole Viloria, Diverso’s Co-Executive Director, is crowdfunding for her short film Pichi:

“After finding her old BlackBerry phone in Miami, Venezuelan Valeska is reminded of her first love and calls her best friend Pichi to relive the past—unaware she’s reaching her as political unrest erupts back home. Pichi shows the world what it means to love a country that is no longer what it was!”

Additionally, Nicole is participating in a crowdfunding rally. To support by following or pledging, visit Nicole’s Seed&Spark page.

한 바람 (One Wind)

We are so proud of Joan Kwon, Diverso’s Director of Development, who received the green light for her thesis film 한 바람 (One Wind).

The description reads, “Set in the summer of 2012, 한 바람, follows the story of Juna (준아) and Halmeoni (할머니) against the beautiful backdrop of rural South Korea. Sprawling rice fields stretch underneath the green mountains in front of Halmeoni’s farm. Juna, left alone with her Grandmother, questions herself, feeling foreign to her own culture. Both being stubborn souls, the two butt heads, eventually leading to Juna running away. Lost in the middle of nowhere, Juna collapses in a field, full of emotion. Her grandmother abandons her tough, unconcerned demeanor as she desperately searches for Juna.
