Let's Work Together - JOIN DVRSO

Interested in joined the Diverso student team? We’re hiring!

We’re looking for sharp, growth-minded individuals interested in working alongside the next generation of filmmakers. If that’s you, keep reading.

Diverso is a student-run 501(c)3 that helps diverse student filmmakers break into the entertainment industry. Our former funders include the Lin-Manuel Miranda Family Fund, United Talent Agency, and WarnerMedia. Some of our past panelists and mentors include Barry Jenkins (Moonlight), Joe Robert Cole (Black Panther), and The Daniels (Everything Everywhere All at Once).

Though we are a student-run organization, we operate more like a professional nonprofit than a "student club." By curating fellowship programming throughout the year, team members will receive invaluable experience across development, producing, management, and more.

All opportunities are remote and unpaid, and range from 6-10 hours per week, with potential for a paid internship over the summer. Diverso is perfect for any student looking to break into Hollywood in a hands-on, meaningful way instead of doing years of script coverage and waiting their turn from industry gatekeepers. No prior experience is necessary, but an open mind, collaborative spirit, and love for film are a must.

To apply, you must be an undergraduate student at a university or college. We highly encourage sophomores and juniors to apply for these roles, but exceptions can be made for stellar freshman and senior applicants.

*This is not an internship but rather an opportunity to become a leader within a non-Profit. Diverso is a unique opportunity to gain real word industry experience.

Below, you will find information on what roles within our organization are available. These are meant as guidelines rather than mandates, as we're always looking for new ideas and fresh energy to be brought into Diverso:
